Recording screen?

I was wandering what software is used to record your screen in a GIF format, So it would be in an animated GIF File.?

Or simply just make multiple images and save them as png and then use

and upload all the .png images (i think there might be a max of 10), its best to sign up as it removes branding on the image

Think you may of mis-understood.
I mean:
Something like hypercam, but rather than videoing in a video format, it saves as an animated GIF
