PuTTY Problem?

I don't know if you guys know what PuTTY is,but it is like a remote desktop connection or something.Anyway,when i type in log in as AmericanServer,then it asks for pass,and when I type it doesnt show.Here is a screenie:

when using a cmd prompt thingamajig sometimes the password is hidden so just type it and then press enter

This is Putty which has options on installation or somewhere I used it when I had piece of shit vps. American got scammed badass!

PuTTY does not show password input to prevent people who are looking at your screen from knowing how long your password is. It's a security feature on lots of applications that use SSH.
