If you haven't seen it floating around on Netflix the last few weeks, Power is a series produced by 50 Cent. The series follows a real in depth character called 'Ghost' as he tries to get himself out of the narcotics game in NYC. Everything and everything he values gets pulled into a massive void as he tries to move towards legitimate nightclub business.
I wouldn't normally write about a series that's been caught up in a 'hype' but this was something that grabbed me 10 seconds in on the first episode. I expected something a bit more cheap and tacky from 50 Cent but the story-line really has you interested and each new episode something shocked me.
If you've got Netflix you should really give it the few minutes it deserves on episode one and there is no doubt it'll pull you in. Check out the trailer below:
