Started playing with Rainmeter over the weekend. Still very imperfect but I like how it's coming along. Spent about 2 hours this morning editing a foreign timetable layout. Quite happy with how it's come out ^^
The background is a wooden texture I found and then some quick polaroids made in PS. The ribbons are a rainmeter graphic just thrown on. Simple stuff.

Google "Start8" or "Pokki Start Menu".
I prefer start 8 as it's the most similar to windows 7 start menu i've seen, you can search for it in the app store and it'll give you the website link to download it from
