For the win8 experts under us, win8 doesn't reset the cpu-up time when you shutdown your pc. Everynight I turn mines of + power switch, and it says it's running for 4 hours. (resets after a windows update)

This is true. It only resets if you restart your computer or shutdown with "Fast Startup" turned off. Windows 8 must have a hibernation like mode.. which closes everything and says its shutting down when really its not really shutting it down 'properly' its just closing the programs and getting it ready for the next time it starts up.. hence the speed of the load up
