It's localhost atm as its being used as a test hotel.

Xampp as I'm not bothered about security for now.

and you don't need ur ports open if ur doing localhost hahaha
 
In your config for emu

shutdown-server=

set it =0 right now it doesn't have a value
 
And to solve your problem:
db.hostname=localhost
should be 127.0.0.1 NOT localhost

Done all of that, still same problem.
