PHP echo user data

hey guys,



So in my db I've got 5 tables "I'd, username, password, email, credits" and what I want to do is echo the users `credits` count, but could you guys possibly tell me how to do this?



I'f you don't understand what I mean:

1)user logs in

2)on their page they can see how many points they have

Well that's wrong for a start because you're echoing out the function name along with the parameters, and not the return of it.

echo userData($user, "credits");
