Phoenix Crashing

Recently my hotel has been having some issues with the emulator shooting to 100% CPU when we hit 500-550 users online, even though previously we could handle 900+ online at a time with ease. I don't know if this is due to our my.ini or if it's because our tables aren't indexed but I was wondering if anyone had any information as to why this could be happening. When the CPU is 100% it shows at Phoenix 3.0.exe using the full 100% and our processors aren't low spec, we're running dual intel xeon's.

But I still see hotels with 1000+ online when mine is only reaching 500-550

You're problem is most likely your vps/dedi. Some hosts can't take over 500+ connections at a time.

Are you using the same package though? E.g -: Platinum Dedicated Server

Not exactly the same server I doubt but my specs are decent:

Dedi: 2x Intel Xeon Quad Core @ 2.6GHz, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD
