News problem in PhoenixPHP!

Hey guys i need some help with my PhoenixPHP news in HK
Cuz when i try go to news i get this -

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in C:\xampp\htdocs\housekeeping\news.php on line 1

How can i fix it?

Here's my first line

Lol. Your database connection is fucked... Did you even edit the config? By the way, please read the errors, as they're self explanatory.

Ugh. Your CONFIG file isn't edited... In PhoenixPHP I believe the config.php is in the includes folder.

Bro.. The news isnt the problem... You have to edit the database as the CMS is saying there is no database connection.
