navicat sasy finshed with errors

okay i just executed an SQL to my database it all connected as it was tested and it at the end it says
[SQL] Finished with error
yet i on the latest navicat with the latest mysql installer 8.0.13 so what could cause it i did do a sql remove sctrict mode but once i click done it shows how many tables it exectued out of 1 db
bear in mind i useing the emu of this

It's just a bad SQL syntax in the database, has nothing to do with your version.

so basiclly the db i got from the link was broken at some point and i got to find another one

No, just means the arrangement of how the sql is written isn't suitable for execution with navicat.

weird cause it works on the old navicat v 9.18 but as that no longer supported on mysql 8.x.x i not sure how to solve the error unless I look at it myself and change a few sql codes around

Use retofiles.net

Try execute the database by Slemdore that’s comes in the PlusEMU download, make sure MySQL mode isn’t set to strict, then restart MySQL.

Shouldn’t matter what type of Navicat you’re using, unless it’s timing out etc.

Open my.ini and remove whatever is between the “” when you search for mode.

Actually, it’s the type of MySQL. Downgrade it to 5.6.

so i got to find a 5.6 instead of a 8.x mysql community installer and use navicat v9.1.8 to see if that works

it all been fixed pink was right i needed the 5.6 not the 8.x mysql
