I've always had this problem but never knew how to fix it without spending $200 on DDoS protection.

Any hints or anything I can do to stop my website from going offline?

I netstat -n and there's a lot of different IP addresses what are making me go offline (Port 80)

Any ideas at all?

Hide your IP in the client file, theres a tut on devbest by Thom on how to encrypt ur IP in the swfs, also get cloudflare so they cant ping your IP :) thats all u can do i guess

You could setup a reverse proxy, just an idea. (If you're willing to spend some money, this is mainly for the emulator)

Also, it makes the attack less harmful if you host your hotel in 2 or 3 different servers.
Example:
Say your on 4gb RAM now, you could do this:
-2GB RAM SERVER = CMS & SWF's.
-2GB RAM SERVER = Emu & Database.

This would mean an attack to a server wouldn't harm the hotel as much :)

I'm willing to pay a little bit of money, would the PRO cloudflare $20 actually help though?
And I tried hiding my IP address, I had no luck using Thom's tutorial thought how do I hide my ip address?
