I've had it since Minecon, but I don't use it. Basically it's Mojang's attempt at providing server hosting for people who want purely vanilla worlds. It also has an option where you can change the server to a select few (vanilla) mini games loaded, if you want to play with friends, and once you're done playing, it goes back to your vanilla world.
