How do you get rid of this? Not the function. I want that item to be limited to 1 at a time.

Catalog items or furniture table there's a column that is set to 1 or 0 to turn this setting on and off. I can't remember the exact name on the top of my head but essentially something like "offer amount"
 
Catalog Items --> offer_active = 0
