Making an account anonymous

I think users should be able to contact a staff member like @bigdawg when they are qutting devbest to have all account data not deleted but made anonymous. For example....

password: kdkk3949ju
email: [email protected]

etc

tell me, why should a user become anonymous if they decide to quit?
everybody knows everybody, so it wouldn't even matter
then they simply shouldn't have registered in the first place

Would be easier to delete the record rather than replace the information with garbage. Not sure why you'd even want this anyway, just log out or ask to be banned maybe?

apparently they dont delete accounts even upon request but i understand why...

Thinking about this, just change all of your settings so nobody can view anything on your profile, messages etc.

good idea but i have ocd so i would like my account completed deleted in the future if i leave but oh well lol
