. I think it's a really good starting point for beginners, and will guide you in the right direction. If you plan on getting more serious, Laracasts has a bunch of very good PHP related content for all skill levels, and isn't specific to just Laravel. I think the value of $9/mo is much greater than anyone here attempting to teach you.
