You are either using the wrong xampp use 1.7.3 or your database is wrong.

You are using the wrong version of XAMPP. It has to be older then the newest one that you can download on their website.

Or Xampp; If it is use this old version, since they disabled some shit in the newer version

Don't use xampp 1.7.4 it's a beta test version not everything of Xampp 1.7.3 is on that already, try 1.7.3 that one will work
