Laptop Charging Issue

Hey,

I was wondering in anyone knew anything about an issue I'm having with my laptop. Whenever I remove the charger from my laptop, it shuts down (Like a PC). It has full charging but I have a feeling its something to do with the battery.​

Just to make sure everyone understands the problem here, whenever I remove the charger from my laptop or from the outlet, my laptop immediately turns off. I have a Lenovo running on Windows 7.​

I don't want any "Look it up on google" or "Let me google that for you". If you know anything about it, post it below, or else don't. ​

There are a lot of people with the same problem as you. I had it to, battery stopped working some day with my Lenovo.

Yeah. You dun need a battery to power your laptop. Aslong as your power is plugged, with no battery, it shall still run.
But yeh. Your battery is fried.

Yeah I'm getting a new battery, I didn't realize it could run with the battery messed up,

On most laptops, if you leave your charger plugged into your computer when the battery is already 100% charged it can damage the battery and sooner or later the battery will die or break.
