For anyone looking to use @Quackster's Kepler emulator, I've find a tool which really helped when it came to editing the database; it's an incredibly straight forward and easy tool to use.

Be sure to shutdown the emulator (holding ctrl then press c) before making any edits to the database.

Once you've made the required changes restart the emulator (. /Kepler)

FYI you can open up the server first and then proceed to open up the db, and then you can make changes to it, and then write changes to it, it will be applied without having to restart the server.

You just need to make sure the that threre's no SQLite browser reading the .db file (essentially locking it) if you want to restart Kepler.

To put it simply:
The SQLite browser will work on Kepler.db if Kepler runs first.
