I remember the days when every newbie that changed a few images, and colors around the a CMS or theme was a so called "edit".
But if you didn't change any "bits or bobs" no where in this theme dude. Just a simple color change in the header, and background. You've rewritten a few pages with no grammar what's so over, and besides you're new to this so I'll give you some credit for trying. But don't consider this as a work of yours.
