Is it possible to use Xampp on Windows Server 2008 [VPS]?

But the default one is IIS. Even if I install Xampp, and go to localhost, it shows an IIS error.

I am sure it makes no sense if your receiving a error after you disabled iis then you need to either reboot the system or you did not correctly disable it.

Also make sure you clear your browsers cache if that did not work check this out.

Xampp is un-secure in itself, but the exploits inside of it are easy to fix.

You would only use it once, but yes you can, i used it to run DenboHotel.
