I'm in a similar situation, but on os x. After I design my web pages, using XML/CSS, I'll need to either find an emulator or program/develop a client from scratch that I can execute/go back in to and edit through my IDE, which I haven't decided on. Things like messaging entire hotel, users being able to create rooms/groups, furniture animations & clickable catalogue sections with working buy buttons are things I need to be able to understand for myself.

I've been looking into it for about 2 weeks now, and am just starting to try and configure a phpMyAdmin db to my localhost server, which is already working, so I can move onto the index/register pages & from there a working client.

Any help, tips and/or advice would be greatly appreciated
& i'll add you as well.
