PC How to set up a Minecraft website?

I would like to set up a Minecraft website. What server is the best to use? Is there a CMS for it or is the server all I need? What data should I use also, like how Habbo uses DCR, CCT and SWF?

Can anyone give me links to everything I would need? I'm new to Minecraft and it looks interesting.
