How to Make "Passworded folders" on Mac

This tutorial is for people who want to hide their porn or any secret files.

1. go to disk utilities or just search it up

2. When it opens click "new image"

3. Type in the name of what you want to call the passworded folder. And enter the settings I've put, in the screenshot.

4. Click create, now enter your password and make sure "Remember my password in keychain is un ticked".

5. click go, now go to your dmg file which you named and should look like this:

and go command+i and right in the top left corner:

of the get info box there should be the icon of the dmg, copy this picture:

and click that icon in the top left corner and paste it or command+V, and where it says "Name & extension" take away the ".dmg". Now your dmg file looks like a folder.
5. Open up your finder and in devices you will see "Disk Image" now click the eject arrow next to it

, to like log you out of it. If you now click the folder that you named with the password, it should ask you to put a password in and this will show up

This is where you want to put in your files you want to keep secret. and to hide it (or log you out in other words) do this again Open up your finder and in devices you will see "Disk Image" now click the eject arrow next to it
