This tutorial is very nice. However, do not use XAMPP, it's unsecured.
Use IIS7 and Navicat. It's free and easy to use!

Don't use a no-IP.org domain, buy a real one. They aren't that expensive.

Other than that, good tutorial from what I saw !

You would have to get a new database then, which is no fun.
Might as well just downgrade.

Back-Up save to pc install heidiSQL export the SQL file and done no new DB and just on it forever
