How to add furni data to furnidata.xml?

I need to add more furni to my hotel and im used to furnidata.txt. I've seen other people with this question but people usually respond with half answers that don't really explain how to do it. I need some sort of tutorial on it which I can't seem to find. I can only find answers to people adding to furnidata.txt.

If anyone can explain this in depth I would really appreciate the help!
