Doesn't seem to report the same as it used to - gone down despite upgrading parts, lmao.

Your 4090 is underperforming horribly. It almost matches my 7900 XTX, which is an entire tier below it.
Maybe if you're listening to userbnechmarks or Nvidia's marketing team lol

edit: nvm I saw his gpu got a score of 1800 lmao definitely something wrong
Host to device bandwidth is incredibly low, I wonder if something is consuming pci lanes

Haven't changed anything other than EXPO profile yet, probably will do later on down the line.

Don't enable EXPO yet and certainly make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest (but not BETA if you're on ASUS mobo) because there's currently an ongoing issue with this CPU getting overvolted and burning up.

Ah, I'll take it off then - yeah I'm Gigabyte x670E Aorus Master, luckily I watch enough of Steve / GamersNexus to be up to date w/ the Asus situation. :p I'm on F9 Bios atm I've seen a few issues w/ the F10d Bios on Reddit, so I was planning on waiting it on, just unsure.

Yeah they all rushed a bunch of bios updates out to try and get ahead of the problem but that makes me even more worried about the quality of said updates so it's easier to just reduce performance in the mean time while saving your CPU from an explosive mishap. Not that you'll notice the performance difference, 5fps isn't much when you're cranking out 150+

Upgrading to a 4090, a gen 5 ssd and another 64GB of ram, but this is what I have in one of my PCs currently:

Will posts my other systems later (if I don't forget)

4070 to a 4090? Seems like a lot of money for a not-insane amount of performance boost. Unless you're trying to max your 4k FPS

That's what I'm wanting.
The 4070 won't go to waste, going to put it in my other system that's due for an upgrade (currently a 1660 Super)

The 4070 is great for 1440, but no so much for 4K, especially with multiple monitors

I currently have a 3080ti and 1440p 170hz monitor. Even on ultra settings I’m getting at least 200 FPS in cod so I won’t upgrade yet but possibly a 5000 series. The 4090 is just a monster of a card though. Good choice.
