How do you get mysql password on vps

Yer so i wanna get the mysql password for my vps so i can use navicat anyone know how to get it?

It shouldnt be any password, go to localhost and make a password. But if it's a password contact your VPS company

Just connect using your root username and password

Yer but thats the thing i cant install MySQL because it is already installed which means a password has already been set so I cant login with a password because I dont have one.
