I prefer you use IIS. Xampp is not secure, and also displays alot of faulty errors.

Yes, but it IIS is way more secure, and its more complex to use. You get less problems with IIS than Xampp.

Don't use xampp if you don't know how to set it up yourself. Otherwise your hotel will be hacked easily

The CMS is using old mysql functions to connect and retrieve data from the database.

Easy Fix:

Downgrade to XAMPP v1.7.3
