Help to install and configure IIS

Hi, could someone help me configure IIS, please. I think a little confusing and it would be great to get some doubts. Use BrainCms

setting up iis is easier than it sounds

1. on your vps find "Server Manager" > Roles > Add Roles > tick the box that says IIS > click next

2. you will see a bunch of roles and boxes. make sure all of the following boxes are ticked...
- All of Application Development (usually already ticked by default)

- Both Performance and Static Compression

and under the category "Management Tools"
-IIS Management Console, IIS Management Scripts and Tools and Management Service.

3. click install and you have completed the iis setup

now youre going to have to download a program called "microsoft web platform" as you need a few things

1. download the program here

You must be registered for see links

and install and open it

2. you are going to need a few programs to finalize your iis so search for these 3 programs below in the platform search bar then click install
- Url Rewrite
- Mysql 5.5
- Any of the 5.x PHP versions
