[HELP] Mybb Forum ! [HELP]

Okay well,
Im trying to create a Mybb forum and i have changed the folder properties to what i have to. ( 777 ) And when i wen't to see if it worked. Only one of them did. And when i went into the other ones that arn't writeable it came up with nothing in it.
Help !

If your using a webhost then you click it and "chmod" or "edit permissions"

Click the file name you want to make writeable then somewhere near the right you should see "chmod" click that and edit the permission. Last time I used it I think that's what I had to do.

Im using FTP to ransfer the files. Do you have team viewer?

transfer them over then do it with the normal cpanel. and yeah i got teamviewer.

You can do it in FTP by right-clicking the file or folder then clicking 'file permissions'.

Search in your forum files and run a search for "chmod" a file should appear and you just change the permissions within that file.

EDIT: This may not work with the newer versions of mybb. just checked.

000webhost have a different SQL server, they provide it on the SQL page, you need to change LOCALHOST to their server.
