Help me with creating an old school retro? (NO HAMACHI)

Hi! Yesterday night I brought up a retro that actually worked. That sounds great, right?

Wrong.

It would only work for me, and not my friends. And after researching for an hour or two, I figured out that for them to be able to go on, we all needed hamachi. I was wondering, could someone teach me how to make an oldschool that doesn't need hamachi? I heard of something called portforwarding, but I'm unsure of how to use it. Thanks in advance!

I'm not going to advertise it on retroslist, I'm just making it so me and my friends can hang out and dive in the lido pool, aha.
