Help keeping my Rp hotel from being hacked/ddos'ed.

I recently made an rp hotel, and every 15 minutes its getting hacked.

My rp is computer hosted, ( i'm getting a vps soon )

Is there anything I can do to prevent hackers?

I hate having to keep re-make it.

Use something like IIS, I think that should help a bit.
If you're using XAMPP, That security is Rubbish.

Try it. ^^ (NOTE: I'm not the Genius myself, if it doesn't work, don't give me the bums.;]

In your xampp completetly delete the folder named Webdav

I was told before, that hackers can get onto your phpmyadmin, through that folder, or something.

Other than that, I really don't know. Sorry xox

Like they said above, there are webDAV exploits in XAMPP. Delete that. Also, switch to IIS, as XAMPP is mainly used for small scale testing of php websites, not for big CMS handling sites.

Yes, you truly don't know. The WebDAV exploit allows users to upload shells to your site, and is able to do harmful damage to your system, they could even delete your System32 folder, which could be very painful for your computer, causing it to not even start up. Edit your .htaccess or buy security, other than that, don't bother trying.
