Thankfully we don't have dress codes here in Denmark at our schools.I had to wear a shirt, blazer, black trousers and tie for 12 years.

My friend told me in middle school that he NEVER wears sweatpants (joggers) and I didn't really see his perspective until high school. In high school, I did what he did and NEVER wore sweatpants and to this day I still don't in public.
I think the reason behind it was that I realized what I wore was a reflection of self-image. If I was feeling glum or didn't want to bother with anyone, I'd wear sweatpants. It got to the point where I was wearing sweatpants every day and didn't want to be the "sweatpants" guy.
It just depends on how you want to feel I guess. Sweatpants were comfortable but now I'd rather show off a nice pair of jeans.

No? Because I work, I don't wear them in the day - I own about 2 pair of joggers and they're both Adidas skinny fit.
