That was when multiplayer first came out, I assume there was a lot of bugs then. I git this game recently and I've never had this problem.

You can play with team mates on multiplayer, lol.

I completed the campaign, but i don't use PSN :3

I'm far too hooked on PC now anyways.

Yes I own that one as well. I don't like it though. The plot development sucks and the story isn't in chronological order.
