This is my first computer build. I tried to keep it under $1100, but whatever. I will mostly use it for gaming, hence the Win7 OEM. I was thinking about getting some cheap LED strips for it as well.

What do you think? Can I optimize it while keeping the price the same? Thanks.

get a cooler master hyper evo for a CPU cooler, it's quieter and is waaay better. Corsair Ballistix is probably a better ram choice especially since it has heat spreaders. You don't need a wired network adapter (unless you specifically know you do) because your motherboard has one built in. Those fans are crap btw, try these:
More airflow, more noise
Less airflow (~Half), very, very quiet

Updated the list, thanks Mace.

I also need to find another case since the USB ports on the motherboard (apparently) don't line up correctly with the case.

Lol they'll line up. The case doesnt have specific areas for specific ports, it just has a cut out for the IO ports to go, and the motherboard comes with a plate that goes over it

Forgot to respond to this thread, but this is what I'm going to be buying in a few days.

It'll end up costing about $1327 with 2-day shipping.
