Fatal error when trying to go onto index??? [urgent will pay]

Getting the following error :

" Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect() in C:\xampp\htdocs\app\class.engine.php on line 48 "

anyone know why or can help me??
 
Sorry for the bump but it won't let me edit my post... I am using the latest CMS and EMU I can find, I am using Xampp and Navicat.. I've tried 3 other CMS and I am having the same problem and YES I have edit all my files so that they are the correct user, database, password, IP, etc...

Hi!, I managed to sort that problem BUT! I just tried another CMS and now I am getting this error and NONE of my buttons work, when I click any of the buttons the page just refreshes?!?!?!, PLEASE HELP!!!!

What version of PHP is this? Not to mention, this could result if you don't have any users in your table

I've had the same problem i switched to iPlace CMS and i changed the root password. Good luck!
