What is this for?
--------------------
Basically I am making a site for my FalloutRP on HabPlus which hasnt even been started and may end up being for another rp.
If its for habbo why is it on here?
-------------------------------------
The site is for a habbo roleplay but will not be habbo. As in the site will be only mentioning the rp but no looking like habbo or having any habbo related things on it besides avatars.

Progress=10%
Any ideas

It looks pretty basic at the moment, but I'd love to see the finished product.

Plan on adding a login system for members... and a blogish system on the left

You should add a bold thick border around the content boxes, and change the font too.
IMO it would make it look much better.

Some little things that may help improve it:

Remove the opacity, looks weird.
Make the border-radius:5px instead of you currently have (something big)
change the font for both the box headers and the text.

It's not a bad design, just could do with a few little improvements here and there. Keep at it! :)

The customer isn't always right though. You're the one with the web design experience and knowledge.

1: That border is wayyy to thick.
2: Your border radius is too large, ugly.

give your h1/h2 style an attribute of "margin:0;" because at the mo' the text isn't centered in each box because that <h1> tag has a default style attribute of quite a large top & bottom margin.

I also don't understand why you keep using percentages as a replacement for pixels. px is twice as accurate and specific.

Finally, currently your content box code is messy. For future reference put them both in a large container box and have 1 content box float left and 1 float right. Give the container a specified width and center it so the only margins your using for content box positioning is a right or left margin creating the gap between the 2 boxes.

I think you should just scrap the content boxes you're currently using and create something new.

How so...I generally want the background to be seen and not limited to the "leftovers". By using transparent content boxes you can still see the background. But give me an idea ,3

I like the bg picture makes me think of Zombies from the walking dead killing people and making more of them. survival.
