Facebook - New Profile Launched

Facebook has launched a new profile style, and it will not be fully launched to all users until early 2011. However, you can get it now, and have it before everyone else.

I agree it is definatly a step in the right direction for Facebook. However, any step is a step in the right direction for them because no matter what they do, they will not lose users.
