I'm using PulseCMS (RevCMS edit) and this guy came on and said we had exploits on the CMS, he told me to use RevCMS 1.9.9.9. I said I don't think we have exploits and he goes and makes himself staff. How can I fix this? :'(

Find the exploit and patch it or change to revcms 1.9.9.9 and carry over the templete?

It isn't obviously in staff.php.... He made himself staff from getting into the database, which can be done on any file in the CMS (that contains that exploit)

Yes, but like I said, you have to go through each and every page to find the exploit... It'll be time consuming.

Its grapeASE and thats where the exploits are, disable it or revert back to zap ase or something to fix it.

You don't need a housekeeping could just update shit through phpmyadmin/navicat but idk go look for one, make sure its no GrapeASE or anything based off of it.

Just use a .htacces file to only allow certain ips to login.
Most easiest solution, unless you have a dynamic ip.
