Emulator and CMS not talking

This may have been posted before, but I cannot find a solution that has worked for me.

Have a few combos I'm trying out on different VPS, but seems like I am being consistent with something that is not working. I believe that I am setting something up incorrectly in either the CMS config or the EMU config, or maybe both.

But I am stuck at 76% loading into the client on a few different CMS/EMU combos now. Seems like there should be some errors popping up in the EMU, but it just says READY. then nothing after.

Yes, Firewalls open, files are right, etc.

I have tried a few different things in the EMU's config, but should I be setting this to 127.0.0.1 or my vps ip? I'm assuming the MySQL stays at 127.0.0.1 regardless, but am not sure at this point.

Turns out all of the problems I have been posting about were because of the AWS firewall smh.

So for anyone using AWS, make sure to open ports on your windows firewall, and also the AWS firewall on the VPS dashboard.

Hope this helps someone else.
