Domain help?

So i bought a domain from go daddy and i put my nameservers on there and my host says its not working and godaddy shows a preview of my site with my host's default page for when some one adds a new domain. so i go to my site and it shows that godaddy has it parked and has a bunch of ads and stuff. can some one help because godaddy isnt

Have you waited 24 hours and/or flushed your DNS cache? (Open CMD and type ipconfig /flushdns)

is were i lost you, i have no idea what that is
but usually my domain would of been fixed
