Do you think cPanel is a requirement for a good host

CPanel has announced they will be putting their prices up and I have seen a lot of web hosts move to direct admin, myself included, do you think cPanel is a must when you buy hosting.

CPanel has announced they will be putting their prices up and I have seen a lot of web hosts move to direct admin, myself included, do you think cPanel is a must when you buy hosting.

Interested to know what everyone thinks

Some of the competitors to CPanel are growing a lot and definitely biting into their market share.

I never personally thought it was a must, I guess it depends on the type of hosting you're doing but I personally prefer proper cloud hosting vs one dedicated server for everything.
