CSS Problem

So Currently I am creating a organised list for articles and I have a drop down navigation and the articles are archived and the list shows the by days months weeks etc... They are also linked and if I add styles to those links it will mess up the navigator and make it wierd. I dont have screenshots right now as I just got this MBP and don't know of a app to do so yet.

It sounds like you're targeting links in general, as opposed just the ones you want with more specific CSS selectors? It's impossible to say without seeing the code.
