SOLVED: I feel kind of stupid now, the column allow_stack was set to 0 by default in items_base.

git issue of someone explaining the same problem, but apparently it should work by default. I'm running the latest version of morningstar as well, so I can't see why this shouldn't work.Help gladly appreciated!
