BrainCMS Housekeeping 404?

Using braincms, latest one from ***** (1.8.8).

Whenever I go to /adminpan/dash it gives me a 404 (or when I click the gear icon).

However, if I move the web.config file from wwwroot to the adminpan folder, only then does housekeeping work. But, everything else won't.

Tried URL rewriting the .htaccess in adminpan folder but it won't work.

(note that there are two .htaccess files, one in wwwroot and one in adminpan folder, adminpan folder is also in wwwroot.)

Any ideas?

Still does not work, believe me. Tried that already.

If your getting a 404 it's most likely a htaccess rule is redirecting to the wrong place or file name/extension, so it would be wise to post your htaccess codes in the thread for both www and also admin pan

No need, braincms was replaced with another version and that fixed the problem.
