I know this isn't much of a technology thing, but it's the closest to it.

I've come across this awesome torrenting site which I thought I'd share. Many of you may even know it but still, I think it's awesome.

Why use a proxy?
There is a much simpler way to use thepiratebay!

1) Download Opera;

2) Once done at the bottom of the opera browser there is a little icon, click it:

& then hit Enable Opera Turbo
3) Navigate to

or .org and it should come up, but as for firefox/google chrome it won't work.

I'll vouch for ExtraTorrent, works great and you don't need any client to download content. I haven't ever been given a virus from any of my downloads, and certain uploaders such as "SaM" uploads new movies regularly!
