Best RP Emulator & CMS [open-source]

Hey guys im looking to start devloping a roleplaying retro, i would like some knowledge on what emulator to use which has good starting points for creating a RP hotel.. i'd need it to be open source as i would like to code my own custom functions etc into the client also - what CMS would you use with your emulator?

If you want to code your own custom functions, use a emu normally used for a hotel and implement RP features yourself.
Don't use reality if you want stability.

You can use any CMS really, just make a small modification to make it work with firstname-lastname.

You're right there.. How is Butterfly emu for stability? I'm thinking to go to work on it, or what about Gold Tree Emulator?

Gold tree is crap, use Butterfly or Plus.
It depends on what you prefer.

I also started developing a RP emu (Butterfly emu). So I'd recommend you to use Butterfly, either Zap edit or Fresh edit, I am myself using Zap edit.
