Asus X53U Charger / Battery issue?

Hey Guys,

I've got some retarded issue with my laptop i bought this laptop around January 2012 from Comet [The pile of shit that closed] after my warranty expired i started having some issues with my laptop
When i plug in my charger sometimes it doesn't charge and instead 3 lights flash [Display, Battery, Standby]
I tried it again when i had 100% but same issue.

I was thinking the battery was damaged but i'm not sure
