@Daltron I already offered you suggestions - look at my previous posts. I already said that I don't want anything to do with supporting retros and that doesn't make me a 'shit host' for choosing not to support something I have zero knowledge with.
There really is no reasoning with a communtiy...
Yet if I try to explain myself, or offer advice/solutions, I still get told I'm a 'shit host' - can't win I suppose. Nothing I can do if no one will allow me to resolve their concerns, but can't say I haven't tried now.
Also I'm nowhere near in 'hot water' as you think - only 1% of my business...
I was talking about on the day and not in general, sorry if that wasn't clear I guess.
Honestly, if I'm such a 'shitty host' then why am I coming here trying to explain myself and resolve concerns? Any problems anyone has now is a time to say rather than just make pointlessly damaging remarks...
Our DDoS protection for all products and services is the same as any host that uses OVH. You get what you pay for frankly.
Nothing wrong with using a design from 2017 (if it ain't broke don't fix it).
I also never once said there's nothing wrong with our services nor have I ever said people...
I've already said all I need to say, including that I know very little about retros, as well as my input that the issue isn't with the proxy + all our configurations are the same for all proxies, and I even gave suggestions for a fix found from Google. But unfortunately an attitude like yours...
I'm not obliged to provide support for something that is unrelated to the proxy itself. Good to know that 4IT is prepared to offer such support - but I'm not. I don't know enough about retros to even try suggest a solution for you; hence I have never advertised my services to the retro...
All our proxies are installed and configured the same way with every order - no one has reported any issues to me apart from you. Not an issue our end.
If you're having problems with both proxy providers, then I can't see it being a problem with the proxies. Either your host/configuration is blocking multiple incoming connections from a single IP or (assuming you're using it for Habbo purposes) you haven't configured the emulator to accept...
@NOC Couldn't have said it any better myself. Both of your posts I agree with fully with no exception, and are wholely my experiences with running my business too. Just a shame this community can't see how hard it is trying to satisfy different people and their expectations for a budget service.
Not really looking to offer trials at the moment I'm afraid. I get plenty enough clients that are filling stock and are satisfied enough with what they receive.
Not sure what kind of tests you would need to do either - seeing as our VPS use OVH they would acquire the same performance as any...
Not true at all - I try my best to get a situation resolved before it even involves reviews. It's 100% down to the client to decide if they can cooperate enough for a solution before even getting a review involved.
That said, if this is your experience with us and you believe this is how you...
A client has full access to the files of any service they purchase, we offer assistance through step-by-step instructions and if a client can't follow those steps, then we ensue a charge depending on how long the request takes. Just to be clear I have never charged for 'adding a logo' - a one or...
We use the same specifications, protection and 'speed' as all hosts that use the OVH datacenter (e.g: HostSavor, Xhosts, etc). So if you judge us by saying we're bad due to them, then you're judging every other host that uses the same datacenter too.
We don't actually support retros anymore...
Thanks for that, I deleted my post without realising that I got a reply - my apologies for that! As I already found out that using the int datatype works.
Where is the best place to get the latest Plus? The one I got was from ***** and I assumed that was the latest.
Is the emulator showing any 'users online'? If not, then you config/ports are not all correct. Check CMS configs as well as the client.php file to ensure the IP and port is set accordingly.
(As per my previous post, I can only get it working on port 30000 - the default port it's set to)
Great release. I got it all working however it only seems to work on the default port (30000). The emulator definitely listens on different ports as netstat shows the correct port when configured to anything other than 30000, but when changing the port in the client.php file it gets stuck on 76%...
Probably not based off this tutorial though - because after editing almost every single page I managed to get it working publicly; but it's a waste of time anyway - full of exploits, very limited. I still stick to my last words stating 'move on'.
