I'm assuming that db is made from another cms because i just read the code and I can't find anything that messes with tab_colour
What you're essentially trying to do is grab the tab color value, then have the background-color from within the tab's stylesheet change based upon what the php says.

You say html is hard, you must be a designer, yes? If so, I agree. I'm a backend developer strictly because i'm a horrible designer.
And I respect that choice, small and local is the key.
I tried out Django, prefered flask over it because i felt flask was more skeleton like and simple.
+1 Would recommend Python. Powerfull, simple and Cross-Platform. And can do just about anything, *with the right modules.
I respect AMD, i'm taking shots at the fanboy.
My favorite AMD product currently is the xfx rx 480, really great OC and corrected tdp. I probably would't use an amd cpu however.
